This has slowly become the bane of my existence and I cannot be the only one.
I have a personal number and a work number. Work stuff lives on Slack and a work WhatsApp, personal is regular WhatsApp plus a couple of others. The problem is I am constantly logging one out to check the other, because most of these apps only let you be signed into one account at a time on a phone.
So I end up missing work messages on the weekend because I logged into personal, and missing personal ones during the week because I am in work mode. It is death by a thousand context switches.
I have tried the "dual apps" clone feature on my Android which sort of works for WhatsApp but not the others, and it is clunky. On the laptop it is even worse, just a pile of browser tabs.
How do people who genuinely juggle two lives handle this day to day? Is there a clean setup, or is everyone just suffering in silence and pretending they have it together?
