Spanbox vs Rambox

All your apps,
without the wall of tabs.

Rambox lines your apps up as tabs and panels you click through one by one. Spanbox takes the next step: it pulls every unread from every app into one unified inbox, with a command bar to jump anywhere. Both run the real web apps on your machine, so this is about how calm your day feels, not privacy.

Why people choose Spanbox

📥

One inbox, not ten tabs

Rambox still makes you click into each app to see what is new. Spanbox lands every unread in a single stream, so you triage once and reply to what matters first.

⚡

A command bar that flies

Press ⌘K and jump straight to any chat or app. No hunting across a row of panels to find the conversation you need.

👑

Pay once, not every month

Rambox keeps its best features behind a subscription. Spanbox has a real free tier for 3 apps and a one-time Lifetime license, so you are not renting your inbox.

Everything you get, in one place.

Spanbox is the calm home for every conversation you have online.

Questions

Spanbox and Rambox, answered

Is Spanbox just Rambox with fewer apps?

No. Rambox is a tab organizer that puts many web apps in one window. Spanbox adds the piece Rambox leaves out: a single unified inbox across every app, plus a ⌘K command bar, so you are not clicking through panels to find unread messages.

Does Spanbox run my apps locally like Rambox?

Yes. Both load the real web apps on your own machine. Neither routes your messages through a cloud bridge. The difference is the inbox and the command bar, not privacy.

Can I run multiple accounts of the same app?

Yes. Two WhatsApps, three Gmails, work and personal Slack, each in its own separate session, same as Rambox.

Is Spanbox free?

Yes, for any 3 apps, with no account. Pro unlocks unlimited apps and every feature for about $5 a month billed yearly, or $129 once for lifetime access.

More about Rambox

Rambox supports hundreds of apps. Does Spanbox?

Spanbox supports 60+ of the apps people actually live in, and if a service has a web app it can usually be added. Rambox leans on breadth; Spanbox leans on a calm unified inbox across the apps that matter to you.

I already pay for Rambox Pro. Why switch?

If tabs work for you, Rambox is fine. People move to Spanbox for the unified inbox, the command bar and the one-time license instead of a recurring bill.
