How do I log out of Facebook, especially from a device I don't have anymore?

Simple one that's weirdly hard to find. How do I log out of Facebook? And more importantly, how do I log out of a phone or computer I no longer have, in case I left myself logged in somewhere?

Two parts. To log out on your current device, tap your profile picture or the menu, scroll down, and tap Log Out. For remote devices, this is the important one: go to Settings & Privacy > Settings > Password and Security > Where You're Logged In. You'll see every active session with its device and location. Tap any you don't recognise and log it out, or log out of all at once. Change your password while you're there if anything looks off.

The 'Where You're Logged In' page is the answer to the remote part. You can boot an old phone you sold months ago from there without touching it. Do a password change right after to be safe.

On desktop it's the same list, top-right menu > Settings & privacy > Settings > Security and login. Kill any session you don't recognise.
