Someone added me on Signal saying they are from my bank, real or scam?

Not the answer you want to hear, but sometimes it really is just their servers.

Scam. Banks do not contact you on Signal, WhatsApp or Telegram, ever. Anyone who does and asks you to move money, share a code, or verify details is phishing. Hang up, do not tap anything, and call your bank on the number printed on your card.

Hard no. That is impersonation. Real fraud teams call the official line or message inside their own app. Block, report, and if you are worried ring the bank yourself using the number on the back of your card, not any number they gave you.
